Meditation is a practice of stillness & self-awareness,
and a return to a more natural state of being. To experience different types of meditation & classes, we invite you to attend one of our meditation Events. At first, the mind is very active, and this is normal. As we practice, the mind becomes less and less the center of attention, and the stillness everyone talks about can be glimpsed..... When we touch that still space on a regular basis over time, a sense of balance and tranquility naturally emerges. We are often better equipped to handle daily life, and find it easier to listen to our body's needs, communicate with family and coworkers, and develop a deeper sense of inner calm and poise in the face of outer chaos. Meditation does not have to be about rigid poses, boring music, or airy-fairy concepts and rituals. It is simply meeting yourself - in being rather than in doing. If you feel a bit lost when it comes to developing your practice, we can work together to find what suits to your current situation (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual needs), and then create some activities you will actually enjoy - it need not be a chore.
