A Note on Provider Rates
and the ways in which we apply your investment in our skill set.
and the ways in which we apply your investment in our skill set.
I mention this here so you'll feel more comfortable talking to your provider about rates.
Most do offer limited pro-bono work, as time and energy allows.
Most do offer limited pro-bono work, as time and energy allows.
If our provider's rates appear inflated to you, consider the following examples:
- Physician: A reasonably full practice sees about 20 clients/day. Assuming a $75/patient cancelation fee, that's just over $185/hour. Some of this money pays administrative and functional staff.
- Our Providers: A reasonably full practice might see 4 clients/day (1 hour each). Assuming $85/client that's just over $40/hour. However, most freelancers don't see clients the whole week because they're also their own administrators/advertisers (reducing the amount applied toward actual service provided). Most practitioners perform administrative and functional tasks themselves.
