              What to Expect in a Session

              Healing & Relaxation Sessions:

              • My healing work is non-invasive, and you will remain clothed except for shoes and accessories.  I use a massage table or floor mat with special cushions for most of the work, but if you're more comfortable in a chair, just let me know.
              • I may speak to you, or I may not - this varies quite a bit.
              • For remote sessions, find a quiet, comfortable space to sit or lie down, and just stay on the line with me.  I'll let you know when I'm finished working, and we'll wrap up (see below).
              • There is a little time allowed at the end to discuss your experience, and I may provide some verbal facilitation so you can make the most of each visit.  This is part of your session, and is not a good time for casual conversation.
              Coaching & Other Talking-Only Sessions:

              • I'll do my best to keep us on track with your agenda or goals, so don't let me lead you down a road that doesn't suit you, and do let me know if I've misunderstood anything you've said - these components are key to your success.
              • I have to watch the clock, so I may interrupt so we can move forward and get the most out of our time together.
              • Near the end of facilitation sessions, I usually take a few minutes for what we call "framing".  It's like a wrap-up, and I may ask you to complete an assignment to further your work. This "homework" is optional, and may be edited or refused altogether if needed.
              Use the web-based Pre-Session form to let me know of developments
              between meetings, so we don't use your paid time catching up on past events.

              Success Starts Here

              • Arrive or call on time, and minimize distraction. In the event of illness or other major disruptions, it’s fine to reschedule.
              • Before each session: Eat if you’re hungry, hydrate, and take a few deep breaths or move some energy.  Relax.
              • You get to set the pace and momentum of our partnership, and you are encouraged to communicate questions, needs and boundaries of any kind, any time.
              • Know what you’d like to take away or accomplish for each session. If you’re unsure, it's ok, but realize that we may need to use session time to develop this.
              • This is a confidential and safe space in which to heal. If anything causes discomfort, or you just don’t want to "go there", speak up immediately - the ball is in your court.
              • Take an open-minded perspective, and stretch your limits to achieve the best outcomes.
              • Be open to shifting energies, beliefs, or habits that no longer serve you or your goals.
              • Focus on awareness, choices, and actions.  Refrain from analyzing, judging, worrying, etc. about our session content.  Significant supportive figures in your life should be informed, but minimizing mental activity will help to preserve the subtle energy we're building for you.
              • Do any assigned work between sessions and develop your power by completing what you agree to do.
              • Making big changes can sometimes be associated with "upheaval", which can show up in many ways. Let me know about potential crises in your life so I can help you understand and flow through the process.
              • Offer constructive feedback about your experience.  All comments are welcome - critical and complimentary.
              • Do your best to maintain the energy from our work together for as long as you can after the session.

              • You are responsible for assessing need for, and acquiring qualified professional health services for yourself. Consult your regular healthcare provider to change treatment plans and/or medications.
              • Kindly inform me if you are under treatment for a serious or chronic disease, or working with a mental health care provider, and notify your doctor(s) of our work together.
              • You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, spiritual, & mental health; as well as for decisions and actions in all areas of your life. If you cannot take responsibility for yourself, please seek other professional assistance, and I will be happy to work with your provider.
              • Intuitive impressions/readings are for entertainment only. Recommendations, advice, content, or other practitioner submissions are simply opinions left to your discretion.
              • You determine the content and outcome of this partnership. My role as a practitioner is to facilitate, and your role as client is to show up 100% for yourself. I do not wait around for clients who are not committed to the work.
              • If at any point you feel unsettled about our relationship or work together, tell me - I can take it. We’ll resolve things together, or I can even refer you to another practitioner.

              Privacy

              Your contact details, notes, and communications will remain private to the best of my capability unless I am required by law to disclose, or you give written permission. In cases of 3rd party involvement, limits of confidentiality are decided as needed. Keep a measure of confidentiality on your end, and avoid sharing detailed accounts of our work with friends and co-workers (but note that communication with caretakers/significant others is encouraged). Non-detailed stories may be shared by either party when appropriate for education or professional example. I do this in such a way that the identity of clients remains private. Please discuss any concerns with me directly.
